Short biography

Armando J. Perez-Carreno has been building software on the internet professionally since 2008. He founded PerezCarreno & Coindreau the same year as a one-person engineering practice and grew it into a boutique AI consulting and automation firm serving small and mid-size businesses across the United States. He is based in San Antonio, Texas.

Over 18+ years he has delivered custom software, e-commerce platforms, education systems, and operational automations for 100+ businesses across 11 industries — including enterprise engagements with IBM, GoDaddy, and FEMSA, and long-term work with fitness, spirits, education, and media brands like My Peak Challenge, Sassenach Spirits, Bia Education, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and Reporte Indigo.

Today his focus is AI adoption for SMBs. He finds the 3–5 automations that actually save a business time and money, builds them, and trains the team to own them — no black boxes, no vendor lock-in. Typical engagements have a first automation live within two weeks.

How he works

Armando is hands-on: he writes production code, designs the workflows, and leads the rollout himself rather than reselling a third party's work. He builds on n8n, Make, and Zapier for workflow automation, OpenAI and Anthropic models for generative AI, vector databases for RAG, and LiveKit and similar platforms for voice AI. He plugs into whatever CRM, accounting, and calendar stack a client already uses rather than forcing a migration.

He is bilingual in English and Spanish and serves the US Hispanic business market alongside English-speaking clients. He says "don't do that" as often as "do this"; if AI is not the right answer, he says so.
