Mac Sleep Slowdown

If you use a Mac and never turn it off, you may notice a slight slowdown eventually. To fix this, simply restart it and it should go back to normal!

It is wise to restart your computer at least once a month to help keep the RAM “fresh”.

Sidenote: Don’t get me wrong – the sleep function works great, you could go a year without ever turning off or restarting your Mac – but some applications are bad at handling system memory and they may decrease your system’s performance.

How long are you going without shutting down or restarting you Mac? Share your stories!
