Voice AI Receptionist

An AI that answers the phone and books appointments — live demo.

The Voice AI Receptionist demo is a working voice agent you can call right now that answers the phone, handles scheduling questions, books appointments, and hands off to a human when the conversation needs one. It runs on the same LiveKit + LLM stack we ship to auto shops, dental clinics, and home-services businesses. This preview embeds a small call widget; your deployment would use your own voice, script, and calendar.

What this shows

The capabilities demonstrated.

  • Natural turn-taking — interruptions and back-channel "mm-hmm" work
  • Calendar-aware booking ("Tuesday at 3" becomes a real slot)
  • Knowledge grounded to a specific business (hours, services, policies)
  • Graceful human-handoff when the caller wants a person
  • Post-call SMS confirmation + full transcript for review
  • Tuned for US English including accented speech and noisy environments

How we'd build this for you

4 steps. Yours, not a template.

01

Listen

We spend a day on your real calls — missed, booked, angry, confused — and map caller intents, edge cases, and the language your customers actually use.

02

Script

We write a conversation graph for the common paths and a free-form fallback for everything else. Your voice, your pricing, your hours — not a template.

03

Pilot

We run the agent in parallel with your current receptionist for 1–2 weeks. Every call transcript is reviewed, and we tune weekly based on what real callers ask.

04

Cutover

Full cutover with monitoring. Weekly transcript reviews in month one, monthly after. You own the voice clone, the scripts, and the call logs.

FAQ

Voice AI Receptionist: common questions

Is this demo actually answering as my business?
No — the demo is tuned to a fictional shop so the example is self-contained. On your deployment we train the agent against your hours, services, pricing, policies, calendar, and CRM. Setup takes 2–4 weeks and starts at $6,500 plus monthly platform costs. Book a call and we will play you a recording of a real agent answering on behalf of an existing client.
Can callers tell they are speaking with an AI?
Most cannot until we tell them. We recommend disclosing anyway — it is the right thing to do, and callers do not care once they realize the AI is booking their appointment faster than a human would. The underlying voice is current-generation ElevenLabs or OpenAI Realtime; we pick based on your budget and the fidelity your industry needs.
What happens when the AI cannot handle a call?
It routes to a human with full context. The human sees the transcript, the caller intent, and any data the AI already captured, so there is no "start from scratch" moment. Handoff rules are scripted per business: some route emotional calls immediately, some route only on request, some route after failed booking attempts.
What does it cost to run per month?
Typical operational cost is $200–$800 per month including LiveKit/Twilio minutes, LLM tokens, and voice synthesis. Setup is billed once ($6,500 starting). Third-party usage is either billed at cost or charged directly to your own accounts — no markup. High-volume businesses (500+ calls/day) are priced against a per-minute retainer.
