The story

How we got here.

Armando J. Perez-Carreno started PerezCarreno & Coindreau in 2008. The work has changed a lot in those years, but the heart of it has stayed the same. We sit with the people who do the work, learn what is slowing them down, and build the technology that fixes it.

For most of our history that meant web apps, online stores, and learning platforms. We shipped training systems for companies that taught tens of thousands of professionals. We built stores that processed millions in sales. We worked with names like IBM, GoDaddy, and FEMSA, and with plenty of smaller businesses we cared about just as much.

In 2023 we leaned into AI and automation. The reason was simple. Most of the businesses we had served for years had the same problem, and AI was the first tool we had seen that could fix it. Their most valuable people were spending their days on work that did not need a person at all.

We are still the same engineers. The work just got more interesting.

How we work

Three things hold true on every job.

No handoffs to a junior team. The same hands that hear your problem build the fix.

1

We sit with the people who do the work

We talk to the front desk, the technician, the office manager. They know where the day disappears and what good service really takes. The system we build is shaped around what they know.

2

We build the whole thing ourselves

The discovery, the design, the build, and the rollout are all done by the same hands. The person who hears your problem in week one is the person writing the code later.

3

We hand your team the keys

The goal is your team running the system on their own. You won't need us forever, and that's the point. If you come back, it's because you want to build the next thing.

Beyond the work

A few words about us.

Armando hosts The Web Talk Show, a podcast and livestream about AI and business. He speaks at industry events about AI in the trades, in the shop, and in service businesses.

He lives in San Antonio, Texas with his wife Giselle and their kids. The family works on local community projects together, including a friendly directory for their city.

The firm is small on purpose. The work compounds when the same person handles discovery, design, build, and adoption. We are bilingual in English and Spanish, based in San Antonio, and we work with clients across the United States and beyond.
